This weekend I had my Valentine Mini Sessions. I trekked down to the park. This lady decided to be a trooper and join me. The weather was beautiful except for the wind. It was like the Big Bad Wolf - huffin’ and puffin’ and trying to blow our shoot down. We weathered it out. We laughed as her hair swirled around her head, waiting for the perfect moment that the wind decided to die down to snap the shot. I’m not done editing, but thought I would share a quick sneak peek to thank her for sharing her day with me. Thank you, Miss L!

Last weekend Munchkin decided she wanted me to take pictures of her for Valentine’s Day. We grabbed some props and went outside. Of course she wanted to take a picture with ALL the props. To be able to have my full photo time, I fulfilled her request.

I just have a feeling that she’s going to be some sort of diva when she grows up. LOL. She’s already got some attitude.

And there are the moments when the attitude fades and our little angel shines through.

Sessions will be $50 for up to 2 people. Add $25 for every additional person.

The session will include:

• 20 minute outdoor photoshoot
• 5-10 online proofs
• 16 - 4×5 or wallet sized Valentine cards
• 15% off any additional prints ordered separately

For those of you in Texas, you know it is now cold for us here. My nice little Weather Channel app says it’s 28 degrees. And you know since it’s mid-day that’s an increase from what it was this morning. Let’s just say it was freakin’ cold.

We’re a little over halfway through the voting period on our Fresh Faces contest. Votes are pouring in! Some categories are neck and neck. Some have flip flopped throughout the period. I’ve had people ask if I will be doing another contest like this one. The only reply I have right now is “You never know, so stay tuned to the blog!”

We are still looking for Senior Superstars to pass on the word at school. The prime candidate would be a current Junior. We need people who won’t be afraid to share their pictures with others. First Happy New Year to everyone! We’ll start the new year off with the voting of our Fresh Faces Contest! What better way is there?

All the entries have been reviewed. There was a slight delay in the voting due to the holidays, but everything’s up now. Head on over to the polls and select your favorite in each category.
